Description

I swear I have a few drawings in the works, but with my limited free time these days, bases are just more manageable time-wise for me.

ANYHOO, here we have an adopted design from :iconchopstickgirl241:, who I have decided will be the daughter of Good King Sombra and Celestia in my Next Gen. The name was inspired by a pony from a previous generation, and I like to think was the name of one of the alicorns that raised Celestia and Luna, so she decided to name her child in their honor. While the endgame ship for my Next Gen is Dislestia, dammit all, this character concept wouldn't leave me alone. So here we go!

Name - Majesty.
Breed - Luxim Unicorn (a pony of pure light, like her father. The opposite of the Umbrum, which is what regular Sombra is).
Gender - Cisgender Female.
Sexuality and Relationship Status - Lesbian and single.
Family/Friends - Celestia (Mother), Mirror Sombra (Father), Gliese (Half-Brother), Menagerie (Adopted Sister), Kismet (Half-Sibling), Luna (Aunt), Cadance (Cousin).
Residence - Mirror Canterlot
Special Talent - Passing judgment on criminals.
Likes - Working, sparring, tea, night time, blunt honesty, yoga, blueberries.
Dislikes - Loud noises, liars, dancing, spicy things, procrastination or any kind of time wasting, children.
Voice Actor - Mindy Sterling (as Lin Bei Fong in Avatar: The Legend of Korra)
Personality - Majesty is often very hard to read. For as easily as she sees into the hearts of others, she makes her own much harder to know. Professional in all situations, she holds herself with an unshakeable poise, especially in the face of danger. She rarely raises her voice, and when she does, it's a sharp, piercing hiss rather than a deliberate yell. She knows how to strike at people's weak points, and has no scruples about doing so, even if they're a loved one. She expects her companions to act a certain way, and when they don't, she'll pretty much spend all her time correcting them and ensuring they're not embarrassing her with their foolishness.
History - Majesty was born during Celestia's secret affair with Sombra so many moons ago, and the two of them decided it was best to keep her in the mirrorworld, so Starswirl would not find out. Majesty grew up not knowing her mother, with a father whose heart became more and more dim with each passing century and whose land fell further and further into corruption.

While she and her father are close, with it often falling on her to be a comfort to him in times of loneliness, Majesty found herself drawn to the king's most trusted knight, Sir Discord. He wound up taking her under his wing, teaching her about self defense, magic, and justice. It was his teachings about justice that made the greatest impact on her, and the unicorn soon discovered her talent: judging the hearts of the foes she faced with a magic spell she picked up from the magical archives in her father's castle, and knowing their true selves in order to sentence them accordingly. Those that she could save, she did. Those that she could not, well...those, she left for the elder guardian of Tartarus, Captain Tirek, to decide the fate of.

Over time, she has grown more weary and less convinced of the inherent goodness of ponykind that her father still believes in. Her mother was supposed to be a good pony, but her intentions with Sombra were so incredibly selfish, Majesty cannot help but feel some measure of disappointment and frustration towards her. But she also longs to meet her, and to know if she would be proud of all Majesty has accomplished in her absence. It is a great struggle in her heart to decide how she feels about her mother, and one she's none too keen to let others in on.
